	Fault:	Drain collapse
	Cause:	Ground subsidence in surrounding area.
	Effect:	Reduced flow and risk of full blockage bt material becoming trapped bt pipe edges.
	Repair:	This damage is not repairable by relining so the pipe has to be replaced by excavation and the surrounding soil stabilised.

	Fault:	This pipe has suffered major cracking in its structure which has compromised its strength.
	Cause:	The weight of ground above it is starting to crush it.
	Effect:	Reduced flow, if left this will continue to deteriorate and will eventually collapse
	Repair:	Repair may be by relining or if left to deteriorate to that above then replacement will be the only repair available.

	Fault:	Severe Root Intrusion
	Cause:	Roots from nearby trees have found their way into this pipe. Tree roots seek out moisture and any pipe defect which compromises the pipes water tightness will allow roots intrusion.
	Effect:	Severely reduced flow causing backup of drainage and probable overfowing at source.
	Repair:	Repair is by sending a root cutting machine into the pipe to cut the roots flush with the pipe. This is a temporary measure to restore flow but the pipe damage causing the intrusion will have to be repaired at some stage. Relining is usually the preferred and most cost effective method

	Fault:	Severe Longitudenal Pipe Fracture
	Cause:
	Effect:	This will deteriorate further, attract root intrusion and eventually crush and collapse
	Repair:	Relining the damaged section will effect a permanent repair to reinforce the pipe and restore its flow characteristics.

	Fault:	Foreign body in pipe
	Cause:	Wheel & Tyre lodged in pipe.
	Effect:	Reduced flow and risk of further blockage by material buid up against it.
	Repair:

	Fault:	Severe Full Blockage
	Cause:	Fat build up in pipe caused by washing,pouring large quantities of fat down drain.
	Effect:	Flow reduced to almost nil, backing up of drainage system and probable overflowing at source.
	Repair:	High pressure jetting to break up deposits and flush out pipework. (see video clip for jetter in action).
