CCTV Surveys:

Closed circuit television (CCTV) surveys are widely used in the detailed evaluation of pipework.  A CCTV camera inspects the system from the best position - inside the pipe.  It is therefore ideal for finding structural damage or defects. 

Clearaway Drainage Services has cameras capable of surveying drains with internal diameters ranging  from 25mm to 1200mm.  For larger diameter pipes, the cameras are equipped with pan and tilt heads and are mounted on electrically driven tractor units.

Our specialist cameras can also do a complete 360⁰ rotating sideview scan to survey joints or welds for defects or to locate incoming groundwater.
    
A comprehensive computer generated report is prepared by our experienced operatives working to exacting standards. These, together with copy of the video survey recorded onto DVD, will detail any faults within the system and recommendations and estimates are given for any remedial work that may be required.

Pan & Tilt Camera Tractor & Crawler Mounted

The pan and rotate camera has a lens view angle of 90° and the camera head can pan 300° and rotate a full 360° allowing for vision forwards and backwards. All laterals and features can be inspected at a single pass.

Crawler Unit
The powered tractor crawler unit is equipped with various combinations of wheel sizes for use in different diameter pipes.
